Located on more than 250 beautiful wooded acres in West Bloomfield, JCC Day Camps offers spectacular summer programs for children and teens ages kindergarten to 17. The camp runs under the leadership of Sr. Managing Director Randy Comensky, who has over 20 years prior camp management experience in St Louis, Buffalo, and Houston. JCC Day Camps is thrilled to be working with Assistant Director, Sam Pellett. Sam has been at camp since 2018. Prior to joining the JCC, she served two years in AmeriCorps’ Michigan Education Corps program as a literacy interventionist for children in Kindergarten through third grade.

JCC Day Camps is licensed by the State of Michigan, is accredited by the American Camp Association, and offers complimentary, chaperoned transportation to and from most areas in Oakland County. 


Due to COVID-19, JCC Day Camps will include the following precautions for the 2021 summer:

• Each camp will include pods of 2 staff and 8-12 campers

• Each pod will be distanced from all other pods all day

• Each camper and staff will wear a mask and wash hands throughout the day

• “Entering Camp” precautions like taking temperatures and questions for everyone

• In-depth cleaning of all used spaces after every camp day

FREE BUS SERVICE! Daily transportation is available from 25 bus stops across Oakland County. 

JCC Day Camps utilizes a professional bus service for all of its camp transportation. Buses have trained that our bus service will drivers and excellent vehicle maintenance records. All bus drivers are professionals with a Commercial provide transportation Driver’s License (CDL) through the State of Michigan. Buses do not have seat belts. Each bus will have trained JCC Day Camp staff to assist campers. Bus service is not available during post camp weeks.
